Gas preparation unit

The gas drying unit is used at gas production and transportation facilities and is a set of process equipment that may include:

• Gas heating unit
• Adsorber unit
• DEG regeneration unit

The main functions performed by the control system include:

• ensuring automatic change of adsorber operating modes;
• automatic regulation of the plant’s process parameters;
• implementation of process locks;
• implementation of an emergency shutdown algorithm for the plant;
• collection, storage and display of process data in the form of mnemonic diagrams, graphs and reports.

The operator interface can be an operator panel located on the front panel of the control cabinet or a separate workstation.

The control system can be supplied either for the entire installation or for its individual components separately.

The scope of supply of the control system may include:

• operator workstation (AWS)
• automation cabinet
• electric motor and valve control cabinet
• power backup cabinet (PBC)
